History of the Cornwall Apprenticeship Agency
The Agency was established in 2012 when it was awarded its ATA (Apprenticeship Training Agency) status from the National Apprenticeship Service. In 2013 the Agency won funding from UKCES (UK Commission for Employment and Skills) to support more businesses and apprenticeship seekers.
Since then the Agency has been involved in delivering hundreds of apprenticeships across the County, and further afield, in a broad range of apprenticeship frameworks. Please ensure you visit our case studies page to view some of the apprenticeship solutions we have created for the many the businesses we have supported.
Our headquarters is based in Falmouth and the Agency is governed by a board of Non-Executive Directors.
Working as a Commis Chef within the cafe, is a great way of getting started in a kitchen. Training to become a Commis Chef may be the most junior culinary role in the kitchen but it provides a means of learning a range of key skills on the job. Commis Chefs prepare food & carry out basic cooking tasks under the supervision of a more senior chef.
